Dr. Jayme Fose is a native of Kansas, born and raised in WaKeeney. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Fort Hays State University (Hays, KS) in 2003 and her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry (Memphis, TN) in 2007.
Dr. Fose has been involved with the eye care industry since 2002. During college, she worked as an ophthalmic technician for a well-respected ophthalmologist, gaining valuable clinical and business experience.
As a member of Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity, she spent time in El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, and Chile, providing eye care to underserved populations.
She is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association. Dr. Fose is trained to recognize a range of health issues, such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetes, and hypertension.
Dr. Fose is an original partner and co-creator of Blue Valley Vision of Overland Park and very much looks forward to helping you and your family with all of your eye care needs!
