Dr. Strong is a proud Kansan, raised in Auburn, KS. He studied Biology at the University of Kansas and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.

Before becoming an optometrist, Dr. Strong worked in many areas of the eye care field, and one of his most memorable experiences was traveling to Jamaica on a medical mission trip in 2011. There, he helped hundreds of people who didn’t have access to modern eye care improve their vision and quality of life.

Today, Dr. Strong is licensed by the Kansas State Board of Optometry and is trained to diagnose and manage a wide variety of eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and vision changes related to high blood pressure.

Along the way, he has been honored with awards such as the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award, induction into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society, and, long before optometry school, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

Outside of work, friends describe Dr. Strong as fun-loving and easy to get along with. He enjoys fishing, water-skiing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Most importantly, he’s a proud husband and dad to three young, beautiful children.
