Dr. Sowash

Dr. Lauren Sowash grew up in Overland Park and is thrilled to be practicing in her hometown. She graduated from Benedictine College in 2012 with a degree in biology and Spanish. After completing her doctorate from the Arizona College of Optometry in 2016, Dr. Sowash and her husband practiced in Denver. They relocated to Kansas City to raise their family in 2020, which is when she joined the team at Blue Valley Vision of Overland Park. Her favorite aspect of optometry is encountering diverse conditions each day and building meaningful relationships with her patients. Dr. Sowash enjoys spending time with her husband, two young boys, and mini goldendoodle, Darby.
